Orcs: Wisdom, Stength, and Honor
Orc Ideology
The Orc race is a warrior based society that values wisdom, strength, and honor. In fact, there are three valleys in the capitol city of Orgrimmar named after these traits. The Orcs fight with intense tenacity. Their racial ability is called “blood fury,” which increases their strength or spell power depending on the characters class. This incites the primal rage of the Orc, bringing out the fury that has led to their success as a species for generations.
An Orcs worth is based on their value to the horde. They are an industrious people. A peon is a low level worker who does grunt work such as working in the lumber yards. These people are important to the species, but expendable because the level of skill required is low. However, without the peons Orgimmar would not exist because it is constructed of almost exclusively wood structures. Thrall, the Orc leader, is one of the greatest warriors to ever fight for the Horde, and his importance to all four species represented in the Horde is significant because he is so powerful. My importance in the Horde will grow as I gain experience and learn how to defeat Alliance fighters and in turn benefit the Horde. Players who have exceptional fighting ability are denoted by different rankings such as Grunt or Warlord. This honor system helps distinguish the best fighters for the Horde. These fighters are greatly rewarded within this warrior society. The higher a players honor rank, the better weapons the Horde makes available to them.
