They only use natural items such as leather and animal products. Generally, they are peaceful, quiet and independent, but when aggravated they can retaliate brutally due to their huge stature and toned bodies. They are deeply spiritual, and the elders of the tribes are concerned with keeping the peace and maintaining order within the tribe. The history of the Tauren is passed on orally and through stories. The totem plays a large roll in the culture of the Tauren. The main religious focus is to nature and the elements. There are numerous levels of spiritual hierarchy, including warriors, shamans, elders and hunters. There is an emphasis on heritage, culture and ancestry, and the Tauren are very family based.
